How to use your Scent reed diffuser

1. Flammable liquid. Do not light reeds. Do not Ingest. Keep out of reach of children & pets.

2. Carefully remove the stopper from the glass vessel, preferably over a kitchen or bathroom sink to avoid spillage, as stoppers can be tightly secured to prevent leaks during transit.

3. Place on a coaster on a flat surface, making sure the reeds are not touching any other materials or objects. Do not place diffuser directly onto polished, painted, plastic or leather surfaces or on electrical equipment, as accidental spillage may cause damage to certain materials.

4. Place the reeds inside the vessel with caution. The strength and longevity of the scent are influenced by the number of reeds used. For a stronger scent, use more reeds, but be aware that the liquid may not last as long. Adjust the reed quantity based on room size and desired scent intensity. People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be cautious when using this product. Use gloves when handling used reeds.

5. To optimise reed performance, you may want to flip them every few weeks. This can accelerate saturation and enhances the diffusion of the scent.

6. Larger rooms may require the use of all reeds or multiple diffusers, depending on your preferred scent strength. In smaller rooms, start with a few reeds and increase as needed until the desired scent level is achieved.

7. Consider room temperature, as higher temperatures accelerate diffusion. While this enhances scent strength, it may reduce the diffuser's lifespan. To prolong scent release, avoid placing diffusers near radiators or in sunny windows.

How to burn your scented candle.

1. Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, or fans, which can cause sooting (black marks on the vessel), or rapid, uneven burning.

2. Burn your candles for the first time for at least 3-4 hours or when the melt pool has or almost reached the side of the glass or tin. Burning for less time can cause the candle to 'tunnel', which leaves a build-up of wax around the vessel's sides, 5mm of wax around the edge is fine and will ensure the candle vessel doesn't get too hot further down it burns. Never burn candles for longer than 4 hours.

3. Make sure you stop burning your candle when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom, keeping an eye on a burning candle when the wax is low.

4. Never leave your candle unattended.

5. Place your candle on a heatproof and flat surface away from sources of heat and away from curtains etc.

6. Trim your wicks before each use to 5mm to prevent unstable, large flames and sooting.

7. Make sure you replace the candle lid after use to prevent dust and debris contaminating the surface of the candle.

8. Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches, as debris in the wax can act as a secondary wick, encouraging your candle to burn faster.

9. After extinguishing the flame with a snuffer, centre and straighten the wick. Burning for too long can cause the wick to move, or slant. If you see a flaming wick come close to the vessel wall, extinguish the flame and straighten the wick to prevent the vessel from cracking.
